What Does a Music Therapist Do?

Music therapists are trained with advanced musicianship and therapeutic training to assess and provide music therapy to children experiencing difficulties in communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, and sensory and motor integration. To create a customised therapy plan, a music therapist will work with you and other therapists to assess your child’s needs and goals.
